Justin & Diana Hoover

Evangelist & Founders, R4

Justin and Diana met in October 2023 during a crusade in Cairo, Egypt. When Justin’s interpreter fell ill, God providentially brought Diana to step in. Both had long prayed and waited for a ministry partner to travel to the nations with and preach the Gospel. God answered those prayers beyond their expectations.

Today, Justin and Diana serve together on the mission field, with a passionate call to preach the Gospel and make disciples—especially among the unreached and unengaged in the 10/40 Window (Learn more).

Justin’s Journey

Shortly after being saved by God’s amazing grace, Justin fell in love with God’s Word and developed a deep desire to see souls saved. At age 25, he sensed a strong call to leave his career in software engineering and step into full-time ministry. God opened the door for him to serve in Indonesia, using his pilot’s license and technical skills to support Gospel work in remote areas.

It was there—while flying for Mission Aviation Fellowship—that he preached the Gospel for the first time. God confirmed his calling as an evangelist, and Justin responded with a bold prayer:

“Lord Jesus, if You provide a way for me to go to seminary and learn to preach Your Word, I will follow You no matter the cost.”

God answered abundantly. While studying at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, Justin served as pastor of Grace Church of Hastings, where he experienced the joys and challenges of shepherding God’s people. This season gave him a deep love for pastors, which now fuels his desire to support church planting efforts globally.

Later, he had the privilege of being mentored by John Piper and the pastoral team at Bethlehem Baptist Church, where he served as Outreach Minister. He led evangelistic festivals, taught classes, and took teams onto the streets of Minneapolis to share the Gospel.

Thirteen years ago, Justin’s second mentorship year brought him to Southeast Asia with Pastor Tom Steller to host a pastors’ conference and village outreaches. There, he met Vijay Sastry, and God knit their hearts together for radical Gospel work. Since then, they have preached to over 12,000 people, planted 110 churches, and established a church-planting center and children’s home.

In 2011, Justin joined the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, where he trained churches in evangelism, discipleship, and follow-up and served as a Crusade Director for Franklin Graham. Today, God has called Justin and Diana to pioneer R4: Revival – renewal – redemption – rescue,a global evangelistic and discipleship movement. Please pray that Christ would be glorified among the nations and that many would come to know Him through this ministry.

“Following Jesus and bringing His Gospel to the nations has been my greatest honor and joy. I owe everything to the grace of God.”

Diana’s Journey

Diana graduated from the University of Social Work in Cairo in 2009. Her heart’s desire was to serve the Lord so in 2011 she pursued ministry work with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and did her six month Discipleship Training School (D.T.S.) in Jordan. This was during the Arab Spring when the Middle East was in a revolution. She traveled to Iraq during this time to work with local churches to share the Gospel with the Iraqi people who were also experiencing the revolution.

After completing her D.T.S. in Jordan she returned to Cairo, Egypt and worked as a computer teacher in an international school. Her heart longed to be on the mission field so in June of 2015 she left her teaching position and traveled to Jordan for a short-term mission trip to serve in a youth camp.

After returning from Jordan, Diana began working full-time in ministry with YWAM. Her role was to host teams who came from all over the world to do missions work and to preach the Gospel in Egypt. Her role was to translate for preachers and teachers, provide accommodations and transportation, lead outreaches to the poorest parts of the Cairo such as Garbage City, and Syrian and Sudanese refugee homes. She passionately served the Lord Jesus in this role for eight years.

In September of 2023 the Lord called her out of the ministry of serving teams with YWAM and burdened her heart to go into all the world to spread the Gospel. This was a very challenging season for Diana because she had to leave YWAM by faith and trust the Lord’s leading, not knowing what the next step would be for her life. God had a plan and in less than one month after taking a step of faith and leaving YWAM, she met Justin on October 5th 2023. They fell in love, married in Cairo in June of 2024, and now serve the Lord Jesus on the mission field through evangelistic campaigns.
